Craft Classes with a
Social Emotional Learning Focus

Crafts, Community, and Confidence
At Camp Craftie, I'm building a community where kids get to be kids — messy, curious, and creative. My mission is to give children ages 5–8 a welcoming space to make IRL connections through the joy of creating together. You don't have to be a professional chef to cook. You don't have to be a photographer to take pictures. And your kiddo certainly doesn't need to be an artist to create! They just need to show up ready to get craftie. I'll handle the rest — the supplies, the snacks, the glitter cleanup, and the big feelings that sometimes come with trying something new.

Let's Get Craftie!
Get to Know Us
What sets Camp Craftie apart from your typical after-school program? Purpose. Every session is designed with intention — art projects to spark creativity, social-emotional skills woven in so naturally the kids don't even notice they're learning, and a space where every child feels like they belong. Maybe your child wants to sculpt with clay. Maybe they'd rather make friendship bracelets or paint something wild and abstract. Maybe they just need a calm corner and some playdough. Whatever they need, I am here to support them.

Class Structure
How Each Session Works
Every 90-minute session follows the same structure so kids feel safe and know what to expect.
Schedule:
🌈 Welcome Circle
We gather together, check in with how we're feeling, and introduce the day's theme. This is all about building community and setting the tone.
🎨 Art Exploration
The main event! Kids dive into the day's hands-on art project with guided support and tons of creative freedom.
💬 Sharing & Reflection
Kids share what they made and what it means to them. This is where the SEL shines — building confidence, communication, and pride.
✨ Closing Ritual
We wrap up with a snack, a group affirmation, and a preview of next week. Kids leave feeling connected and excited to come back!
